Minyan
1980s New York City, Brighton Beach aka‘Little Odessa. Minyan follows David (Samuel H. Levine), the son of Russian Jewish immigrants living in New York City. Caught up in the tight constraints of his community, David gets a taste of freedom when he develops a close friendship with his grandfather’s neighbours, two elderly closeted men. They open his eyes to the possibilities of love, the realities of loss and the desires of the East Village.
