Sherlock Jr.
Buster Keaton plays a movie projectionist who tries to solve a crime when he is framed by a romantic rival for a theft he didn’t commit. Naturally, things don’t go to plan but Keaton’s usual visual inventiveness is on full show when his work and dream life collide. As he falls asleep in the projection booth the cinema screen comes to life as reality shifts around him in an audacious example of perfect editing and precision.
