Alps established Yorgos Lanthimos’ as the leading light of the Greek New Wave Films. A group of well-meaning individuals offer their services to the grieving, taking the place of the dead person as a form of therapy. However, the acts of altruism result in unexpected repercussions as one of the group take their responsibilities a little too far, in this impressive and mordantly funny black comedy.
