Martin (Mikkelsen) has been muddling through life for years. His family barely registers his presence and the parents of his pupils are so concerned about his lack of interest in their studies they fear he lacks the will to see them through their finals. Then one night, while out with his friends Tommy (Thomas Bo Larsen), Nikolaj (Magnus Millang) and Peter (Lars Ranthe), the men hit upon an idea. A certain amount of alcohol permanently flowing through the bloodstream gives exactly the kind of boost each of the men have found they lack. No sooner than they embark on their experiment than each discovers a lust for life. Martin, in particular feels the effects. His class begin to enjoy his lessons and his family notice him again. But what happens when the men need to keep upping the amount of alcohol they consume each day in order to maintain that feeling?
