Sebastián Lelio (Disobedience, A Fantastic Woman) pairs with Julianne Moore for a sophisticated romantic comedy drama.
Gloria (Moore) is a free-spirited divorcée who spends her days at a straightlaced office job and her nights on the dance floor, joyfully letting loose at clubs around Los Angeles. After meeting Arnold (a superb John Turturro) on one of those nights out, she finds herself thrust into an unexpected romance, revelling in the joy of companionship, but burdened with the complications of history and family. With this US version of his Chilean original, Lelio and his star have created a fabulous portrait of a woman whose resilience wins out over everything and a paean to the power of dance.
