Wreckers
Dawn and David move back to David’s childhood village to start a family. But the arrival of his vulnerable younger brother ignites a series of conflicts that lay bare the uneasy foundations upon which the couple’s relationship is built.
Filmed entirely in and around the Fens, DR Hood’s unsettling debut feature is a Pinter-esque tale of secrets and hypocrisies in a small town and boasts breakout performances by Benedict Cumberbatch (now starring in 1917) and Claire Foy (The Crown, First Man).
DR Hood has created a world in which the familiar becomes strange and addresses head on the disturbing notion of how well we can really know another person.
