Back in 1934, Curzon Mayfair opened its doors and the British-cinema landscape changed forever. We’re delighted to partner with Kia, who have demonstrated an ongoing support of independent cinema, to mark our 90th anniversary. We’re looking back on our journey through the decades and will be hosting a special programme of iconic films to celebrate this milestone.
In this series of screenings, we’ll be playing films from our 90-year history, travelling back to the Thirties for Jean Vigo’s romantic comedy L’Atalante, stopping off in the Sixties to behold Stanley Kubrick’s science-fiction opera 2001: A Space Odyssey and swinging by the Nineties to visit Jane Campion’s coming-of-age drama An Angel at My Table, plus much more.
Wish us a happy birthday and join our Curzon 90 festivities!
